We are hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a Home Health position providing skilled care to patients in their homes in the Manatee County area.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver skilled, patient-centered care in a home health setting, in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team that truly supports you
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations assessing speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function, developing individualized treatment plans to support safety, independence, and quality of life
Educate and empower patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises
Think critically, solve problems in real time, and ensure thorough, compliant EMR documentation
Work independently, but never alone
Travel to patient homes within assigned territory

SLP Qualifications
Active Speech Language Pathologist, SLP license in the state you work
One year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist and the clinical expertise to deliver quality patient care
Current driver’s license and ability to spend ~20% of your day driving to/from patient locations
