Are you an organized, people-focused professional with a passion for Human Resources? kisco Park Terrace is seeking a talented HR Coordinator , you will play a key role in supporting associates and leaders while helping to create a positive, engaging, and compliant workplace environment.
In this role, you will partner closely with the community HR leader to support a wide range of HR functions, including onboarding, associate relations, training, payroll support, and HR systems—ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for all associates.
Schedule: Part time 9am-5pm
Pay: $23-$25/hr
What You’ll Do
Provide day-to-day HR support to associates and managers, ensuring consistent application of HR policies and practices
Coordinate recruiting and onboarding processes, including pre-employment screenings and new hire orientation
Maintain accurate and compliant associate records and HR documentation
Support associate relations by assisting with investigations, conflict resolution, and employee inquiries
Coordinate training programs and maintain training records
Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate HRIS data
Support administration of benefits, leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims
Help communicate HR programs and coordinate associate recognition initiatives
Prepare and submit HR reports and documentation as required
Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable employment laws
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive associate information
Collaborate with leadership and Home Office HR to support organizational initiatives
What You Bring
High school diploma with 2+ years of HR experience, or associate degree with 1+ year of HR experience, or bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now a plus)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed
