HR Generalist

Overview St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment support, onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS reporting, employee engagement, and compliance. This role serves as a key resource for employees and leadership, helping to foster a positive workplace culture while ensuring adherence to employment laws, healthcare regulations, and hospital policies. Job Details Key Responsibilities Support employee and manager relations, performance management, and leave of absence administration. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes. Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and special HR projects. Assist with benefits administration, including Open Enrollment. Maintain employee records, HRIS data integrity, reporting, and compliance documentation. Conduct license verifications, I-9 processing, and exit interviews. Partner with Employee Health Services and other departments on HR-related initiatives. Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting. Knowledge of employee relations, employment law, recruitment, benefits, and HR compliance. Experience with HRIS/HRMS systems; UKG/Kronos preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Posted Salary Range USD $65,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
