Responsibilities Administer safe and effective hyperbaric oxygen therapy and assist with diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric provider. All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered and reviewed by the hyperbaric provider. Provides daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations.
Qualifications
Education
H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
Training in one of the following medical professions: Required
Respiratory Therapy or
Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) or
Emergency Medical Technology. or
Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire
Work Experience
2 years of healthcare experience Required
Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS Certification through AHA Upon Hire Required and
Current Georgia license or certification in one of the following areas: Upon Hire Required
CRTT - Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician Required or
LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) Required or
EMT - Emergency Medical Tech Emergency Medical Technician Required or
CHT - Certification in Hyperbaric Technology Certified Hyperbaric Technologist Required or
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Surgical Technologist Required or
Other CHT qualifying certification Required
In addition to the above qualifying license, the successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 180 Days Required
