Join our Harness Racing team as an Identifier / Paddock Judge , where accuracy, fairness, and attention to detail help ensure every race is run correctly and every guest experience is trustworthy. This unique role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of our racing program while supporting smooth, professional race-day operations. What You’ll Do Ensure compliance with all Pennsylvania Harness Racing Commission rules and regulations Serve as Paddock Judge as needed, overseeing horse preparation and equipment checks prior to races Observe horses in the paddock to confirm proper readiness and adherence to standards Record and verify racing equipment used on each horse Ensure a licensed trainer or groom is present for every horse in the paddock Act as the primary Identifier , verifying horses through tattoos and Coggins test documentation Confirm that the correct horse is entered and competing in each race Complete routine reports and correspondence accurately and on time Support race-day operations and assist with related duties as assigned Promote a professional, fair, and guest-focused racing environment What We’re Looking For 1–2 years of experience in the Harness Racing industry preferred Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania Harness Racing Commission rules and procedures Ability to read a Condition Sheet and interpret race entries accurately Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and integrity Ability to write clear, routine reports and documentation Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions Ability to stay alert and focused in a fast-moving, high-responsibility environment Why Join Us?
