About the Role
As an Inside Sales Associate, you will serve as a key link between Prysmian, our customers, and our Outside Sales team, supporting the telecom fiber and copper business and playing a key role in driving customer satisfaction, revenue, and operational performance. You will partner directly with customers, Outside Sales, and cross-functional teams to deliver timely, accurate solutions and ensure orders move seamlessly from request to fulfillment.
This is a high-impact, fast-paced role where attention to detail, responsiveness, and strong collaboration directly influence business outcomes and customer success.

What You'll Do
Manage Customer Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, building strong relationships while handling a high volume of requests
Drive Quoting & Pricing: Analyze customer needs and specifications to deliver accurate, timely quotes including pricing, lead times, and product availability
Own the Order Lifecycle: Manage order progress, communication updates, and collaborate with internal teams to meet customer expectations
Resolve Issues with Ownership: Address returns, claims, and discrepancies, identifying root causes and driving resolution across teams
Collaborate Cross Functionally: Work closely with Scheduling, Manufacturing, Shipping, Quality, Finance, Engineering, and Product teams to deliver customer solutions
Support Sales Growth: Partner with Outside Sales and Sales Agents to contribute to account growth, customer retention, and identify opportunities that contribute to overall business growth
Interpret Customer Requirements: Translate customer needs and technical specifications into accurate orders and solutions with support from internal teams
Act as the Voice of the Customer: Represent customer needs internally and ensure alignment across teams
Contribute to Business Initiatives: Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives that support specialty market growth and new opportunities
What We're Looking For
Experience and Qualifications
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Experience in customer service, sales support, account coordination, order management, or inside sales
Experience handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Skills & Capabilities
Ability to manage customer relationships in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling quotes, orders, and data
Ability to problem-solve and coordinate across multiple teams to resolve issues
Comfort working with technical product information and customer specifications
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Preferred
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, AS400, or similar)
Familiarity with EDI processes
