Position Overview :
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for proactively managing and developing revenue from a defined group of customers assigned by the Sales Director. Working in close alignment with the broader Sales team, the ISR engages customers primarily via phone, video, email, and CRM‑driven workflows to drive sales execution, customer satisfaction, and account growth.
The ISR plays a critical role in maintaining consistent customer contact, qualifying opportunities, executing outbound and inbound sales activities, and supporting territory and account strategies established by Sales leadership. The role is highly execution‑driven, with clear expectations around activity levels, pipeline management, and revenue contribution.

Essential Functions :
Customer Engagement & Sales Execution
Proactively call on and manage assigned customers as defined by the Sales Director.
Execute inbound and outbound sales activities, including follow‑ups, promotions, reactivation, and opportunity qualification.
Act as a primary point of contact for customers on product availability, pricing, basic technical information, and order‑related inquiries.
Drive incremental sales through product recommendations, cross‑selling, and upselling within the assigned portfolio.
Opportunity & Pipeline Management
Identify, qualify, and advance sales opportunities within assigned accounts.
Maintain an accurate and up‑to‑date sales pipeline in CRM.
Support lead follow‑up and opportunity handoff to field sales or account managers where applicable.
Execute sales campaigns and initiatives aligned with sales priorities and product launches.
Sales Team Alignment
Work closely with field sales, account managers, and sales leadership to ensure coordinated coverage and customer experience.
Support territory strategies by maintaining consistent contact with customers not covered by field sales.
Escalate complex opportunities, risks, or customer issues to the appropriate sales or support resources.
Order Management & Customer Support
Support customers through the sales process, including quotation, order placement, and basic order status follow‑up.
Ensure accuracy in orders, pricing, and documentation in line with company policies.
Coordinate with internal teams (customer service, operations, sales ops) to resolve customer issues efficiently.
Reporting & Administration
Accurately document all customer interactions, activities, and next steps in CRM.
Track customer engagement, opportunity progression, and sales activity against targets.
Provide regular updates and feedback to Sales Director and sales team on account activity and market insights.
Success Measures & KPIs
The success of the ISR role is measured through activity, execution discipline, and commercial outcomes, including but not limited to: Sales Performance
Achievement of assigned revenue or booking targets.
Incremental sales growth within the assigned customer portfolio.
Conversion rate of opportunities and leads.
Activity & Execution Metrics
Number of outbound customer calls and meaningful customer interactions per week.
CRM compliance and data accuracy.
Follow‑up timeliness and opportunity velocity.
Pipeline Health
Value and quality of active pipeline.
Opportunity progression and aging.
Team Contribution Effective collaboration with field sales and internal stakeholders.
Support of sales campaigns, promotions, and strategic initiatives.
Diversity of thought and experience s is fundamental when imagin ing the unimaginable . Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way .
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of inside sales experience in marine, outdoor, home improvement, automotive industries, or related industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Power BI a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive customer insights.
Proven territory‑management experience, including call planning and pipeline development.
Excellent verbal and written skills for virtual rapport building
Proven experience in achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
Strong strategic and day‑to‑day problem‑solving abilities.
Proven track record of driving sales growth with customers.
Strong creative problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
Strong capability to manage multiple accounts and follow up on leads in a timely manner.
Self-motivated with a result-driven mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
