JOB SUMMARY Collect and analyze data to conduct audits detecting deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies. Prepare reports on findings. Conduct internal audits to review policies and procedures. Identifies risks in each audit area and may initiate investigations to mitigate losses and strengthen controls. Recommend improvements in procedures, processes and operations across the organization. Interact and Interview all levels of management. JOB DUTIES Understands the basic principles, theories and concepts related to the profession and learns how to apply them within the ERCOT culture. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Contributes to specific objectives and outcomes as directed. Expected Salary Range: $74,000 - $102,000
