About Crystal Bridges & The Momentary
Crystal Bridges is a museum of American art located in Bentonville, Arkansas. We explore the unfolding story of America by actively collecting, exhibiting, interpreting, and preserving outstanding works that illuminate the American heritage and artistic possibilities. Founded by Alice Walton in 2005, the museum opened in 2011 and is a public, non-profit charitable organization with free admission.
The Momentary is a contemporary art space that opened to the public on February 22, 2020, in downtown Bentonville, Arkansas. Position Summary
The Internship Program & Engagement Manager is responsible for the overall success of the Crystal Bridges & Momentary internship program. This position is responsible for volunteer outreach, engagement and management of the CB/MO supported programs and events.
The Internship Program & Engagement Manager recruits and engages industry partners and coordinates student preparation and program delivery activities year-round with multiple stakeholders including industry, community, students, educators and CB/MO staff. The program manager reports directly to the Director of People Services.
This position requires an imaginative, resourceful, and collaborative professional who can take initiative and work alongside department leaders to help build , launch , and oversee Crystal Bridges and the Momentary internship program.
Core strengths include the ability to focus on building relationships within the institution and the community to assist in the overall coordination of experiential learning services and opportunities adhering to the organization mission and values of authentic engagement, building community, equitable practices that promote race equity, diversity and inclusion, and strengths-based practice.

Principal Responsibilities
Community Relationship Management
Build and maintain relationships with individuals, industries, organizations, colleges and other community organizations with the primary goal of internship placement
Partner with the field experts / department leadership to develop relevant internship framework and curriculum
Works with department leaders and community partners to provide a welcoming and engaging internship experience for each intern to ensure a positive experience
Evaluate industry and community satisfaction with internship program
Effectively handle diverse interpersonal and inter-group relationships
Actively participate in industry and community organizations
Internship Program Delivery Partner directly with the local schools, colleges & universities to manage and execute all aspects of the internship program
Organize and implement intern orientations, w orkshops & c ulminations.
Maintain frequent and effective communication with interns and department leaders.
Develop a framework and timeline to build and launch the program.
Manage the planning and implementing strategic goals & operating plans for continued growth
Oversee daily activities and responsibilities for the intern programs.
Develop and conduct training for participating supervisors.
Program Administration Ensure internship program complies with all rules and procedures required by law, as well as meets organizational compliance requirements.
Oversee and manage intern timekeeping in Workday.
Keep detailed records and reports on the results of the intern program.
Collect and analyze internship data for internal and external use.
Deliver accurate and timely data and reports
Prepare reports / presentation on the contributions of each internship cohort
Communicate pertinent information to all stakeholders in a timely fashion by email, telephone and in person.
Planning, Design and Budgets Responsible for overall program plan, design, delivery and evaluation
Develop and implement program improvements.
Accountable for overall plan success including evaluation and budget process.
Professionalism & Ethics Must conduct oneself in a highly professional manner, and in alignment with CB/MO values.
Work in collaboration with team members within department and across the organization
Support overall CB/MO objectives and goals as outlined in Strategic Plan
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders in order to achieve the goals of the organization.
