POWDR also   operates   Stovepipe Wells in Death Valley National Park and Zion Lodge in Zion National Park under long-term concession agreements with the National Park Service.   Job Summary:   The IT Technician Intern at POWDR is designed for students passionate about technology and   eager   to gain hands-on experience in enterprise IT support. In this role, you will   assist   with day-to-day IT operations, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and provide hands-on support to enterprise teams, including C-suite executives.   Working alongside experienced IT professionals,   you’ll   contribute to real-world projects, build technical and problem-solving skills, and gain exposure to innovative technology solutions in a fast-paced, adventure-driven environment.  (This internship is for Fall/Winter Semester. Beginning end of August/first of September through the end of December) Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   Enterprise & C-Suite IT Support  –   Assist   with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.  Provide technical support and troubleshooting for enterprise staff, including C-suite executives (CEOs, CFOs, COOs, etc.).   Freshdesk Ticketing System  –   Support the implementation of the   Freshdesk   ticketing system .   Device Configuration & Automation  – Work wit h  Intune  to   configure and automate device management processes, supporting mobile and enterprise users.   Onsite IT Support  – Travel to   Woodward locations  and  national park concessio n s  t o provide hands-on IT support, troubleshoot issues, and   assist   with hardware deployment s as needed.   User Onboarding & Offboarding  – Assist in setting up   new users , provisioning accounts, and managing access control.   Process Documentation & Knowledge Base Contribution  – Help build a knowledge base by documenting troubleshooting steps, FAQs, and best practices.   Shadowing & Training  – Learn from senior IT technicians,   participate   in enterprise technology stand-ups, and contribute ideas for improving processes.   Perform other duties as assigned.   Skills and Qualifications:   Currently enrolled in a degree program in   Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field .    Basic knowledge of   computer hardware, software, and networking .    Familiarity with   Windows and macOS operating systems   and   Microsoft Office Suite .    Strong   analytical and troubleshooting skills .    Ability to work effectively in a   team-oriented environment .    Excellent   communication and interpersonal skills .    Detail-oriented with a   passion for technology .   Basic Requirements:   Valid   driver's license is   required .   Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50lbs.   Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all season   environment .    Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.   Willing to travel as needed.   Travel Requirements:   Up to   10%   travel   may be   required .   Perks & Benefits:   Free season passes to Snowbird and Woodward Park City, plus access to POWDR resorts nationwide   Exclusive discounts with partner brands like YETI, Burton, Subaru, and more   Discounts on food, retail, rentals, and lessons across POWDR-operated locations   Wellness and community-focused offerings, including fitness classes and employee events   Career development opportunities across POWDR’s portfolio of destinations   POWDR is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
