Lab Support Technician

Job Description​ Saint Luke's is seeking a full-time day shift Lab Support Tech to join our team. Collects patient samples using best practices for phlebotomy.  Documents receipt of patient samples in Lab Information System (LIS) and prepares them for analysis. Full-Time day, M-F, 8:30-5:00p, no weekends, perform collections at Bishop Spencer Place nursing home. Experience in lab and phlebotomy highly preferred Collects patient specimens in accordance with laboratory's policy, procedures and regulatory standards. Correlates patient samples to provider laboratory test orders in the LIS/EMR.     Performs and reports Point of Care laboratory testing as required.   Uses education and experience to identify and resolve patient circumstances that might interfere with accurate sample collection.   Communicates effectively with nursing and unit staff to relay information concerning patient collections.   Job Requirements Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year None Job Details Full Time Day (United States of America) The best place to get care.
