Labor and Delivery OB Technician

Provides direct care to patient of various ages (neonate, adolescent, adult). Interacts with physicians, patients, families/significant others, hospital staff and community agencies in providing basic care. Is responsible for completion and processing of the birth certificates, and “Declaration of Paternity” forms. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. High School Diploma or Equivalent 2. BLS Certification within 30 days and maintain current3. Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, EMT, ROP, Paramedic Training Program, Certified Surgical Scrub Technician or equivalent required.
