Deep Mechanical/Aerospace expertise with strong command of core engineering principles and their practical application
Required Skills
Advanced capability in hand calculations and stress analysis of metallic and composite structures, including failure modes and load path assessment
Expertise in static and non-linear analyses (geometric, material, contact) , driving optimal method selection for complex problems
B.tech or equivalent degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering with 4-7 Yrs of experience
Advanced FEA proficiency, including meshing (2D, 3D Hex, Tet), boundary conditions, loading, and results interpretation at component and assembly levels
Deep understanding of NASTRAN solver behavior; capable of diagnosing and resolving complex (FATAL) issues
Strong capability in force/moment balance, test correlation, and validation of FE models with high accuracy
Ability to translate analysis results into actionable design insights, influencing product performance and optimization
Extensive experience in structural analysis of aircraft seats/interiors across components and assemblies, including metals, composites, and fasteners
Lead structural assessment and approval of design changes, ensuring compliance with strength, stiffness, and regulatory requirements while optimizing solutions
Apply advanced engineering methods to solve complex problems and deliver data-driven recommendations
Solid understanding of test correlation, validation, and certification processes; familiarity with FAA/EASA requirements
Develop and deliver interface loads, technical documentation, and analysis reports for OEMs and customers
Drive automation of FEA workflows through HyperMesh/FEMAP macros and strong FEMAP API expertise
Leverage Python, Excel, and VBA to enhance analysis efficiency and standardization
Develop Standard Job Instruction, training material, and best practices for the analysis
Expert user of HyperMesh, HyperView, NX Nastran, and OptiStruct; working knowledge of FEMAP, NX CAD, and Teamcenter PLM
Proficient in MS Office with experience in authoring, reviewing, and managing technical documentation
Ensure execution and delivery of project phases within schedule, quality, and compliance expectations
Advanced analytical and problem-solving expertise with a deep understanding of tool capabilities, limitations, and their impact on engineering decisions
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and adapt in a dynamic team environment
