At Live Nation Entertainment, our people embrace these qualities, so if this sounds like you then please read on!  THE JOB The Director of Membership Sales is responsible for the development and growth of the premium membership program at the Brooklyn Paramount.  Additional sales channel responsibilities will include group and hospitality package member sales as well as other revenue-generating programs as added to the product portfolio.  This role will include the development, service, support and maintenance of these members and meeting all pre-determined individual and department sales and service performance goals. This role reports directly to the Regional Director of Sales. Total Earning Potential - Up to $150,000 annually (Base Salary + Commission) The information below is specific to the base salary only WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO Responsible for actively developing, nurturing, and maximizing positive relationships with new members by conducting effective sales tactics, make outside sales calls, presentations to potential clients, and conduct site visits and prospecting events Generate revenue via prospecting new leads through internal pipelines, external events, and inbound marketing efforts Network with existing Members to develop referrals and maintain a high retention rate through constant engagement Meet and exceed specific levels of activity, appointments and revenue goals while exceeding the member expectation Serve as the venue sales ambassador in the community while partnering with the local Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, Chambers of Commerce, Meeting Planners Associations, and similar type organizations Work in partnership with marketing and ticketing teams to deliver timely show/ticket order announcements to members Manage variable expense and revenue budgets and maintain proper reporting procedures Liaison with internal departments (Operations, Box Office, Food & Beverage, Marketing, Finance, etc) to develop and maintain premium membership presence and program operations that enhance the overall premium fan experience Report directly to the Regional Director WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING Bachelor’s degree in business management, business or related field is required Five to ten years direct sales experience, preferably in a membership-based environment A proven track record in relationship building and networking skills with ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of an organization Demonstrated experience in managing sales funnel with a sense of urgency, sometimes under a high level of pressure Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards development and retention of members Highly motivated, naturally assertive, with a positive attitude Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday per show schedule Prior experience with Archtics and Salesforce.com is a plus BENEFITS & PERKS Our motto is ‘Taking Care of Our Own’ through 6 pillars of benefits: HEALTH : Medical, vision, dental and mental health benefits for you and your family, with access to a health care concierge, and Flexible or Health Savings Accounts (FSA or HSA) YOURSELF : Free concert tickets, generous paid time off including paid holidays, sick time, and personal days WEALTH : 401(k) program with company match, stock reimbursement program FAMILY : New parent programs including caregiver leave, plus fertility, adoption, foster, or surrogacy support CAREER : Career and skill development programs with School of Live, tuition reimbursement, and student loan repayment OTHERS : Volunteer time off, crowdfunding match EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY We aspire to build teams that reflect and support the fans and artists we serve.
