Lube Tech/Mobile Mechanic

What You'll Be Doing Perform fueling and lubrication of mobile equipment including loaders, haul trucks, and support vehicles Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify wear, leaks, or maintenance needs Maintain accurate service logs and communicate equipment status to maintenance and operations teams Assist with preventative maintenance tasks and support mechanics with basic repairs Follow all site-specific underground safety procedures, including ventilation, confined space, and hazardous material protocols What Are We Looking For Demonstrated ability to safely service and maintain heavy mobile equipment in an underground or industrial setting Working knowledge of lubrication systems, diesel equipment, and preventative maintenance practices Strong commitment to safety with the ability to follow underground mining regulations and procedures Ability to work independently in a physically demanding environment while supporting a team Effective communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to equipment care Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year) Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
