Pay
$28.65 - $35.16 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Schedule
1st Shift, (Monday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.); some overtime may be required

Job Summary
McKee Foods is seeking a Machinist/Millwright to join our Corporate Machine Shop team. As a Machinist/Millwright, you will be hands-on in the setup and operation of a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. You’ll also play a crucial role in the installation, dismantling, or moving machinery and heavy equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, or other drawings.
Complete scheduled work assignments on manual and CNC machines
Complete walk-in jobs as needed for maintenance
Install new lines or make modifications to existing equipment
Travel to the Branch Plants for line installations or modifications
Use a computer to keep up with job assignments, schedules, labor and material tracking
Required Qualifications
Two or three-year certificate from vocational or technical school and 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (2 years of experience can be substituted for one year of education)
Demonstrated proficiency in the operation and set-up of milling machines, lathes, a variety of sawing operations, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly, and installations
Strong mechanical aptitude and abilities
Basic shop mathematical abilities
Basic computer knowledge and skills
Willingness to travel up to 10% (air travel and local travel)
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to do heavy lifting, sometimes lifting/moving up to 100 lbs.
Must have or be able to obtain a Lift Truck License
Preferred Qualifications
6 years of related experience
Mazak CNC machining and turning programming and operational experience
Experience in CAD/CAM and/or SolidWorks
Experience in basic repair type welding
