BOLT FARM is building America’s most iconic romantic luxury retreat brand: nature-immersed, high-experience, and emotionally transformative. Backed by 3,300+ five-star reviews, 1M+ followers, and features across Forbes, Travel + Leisure, and Netflix, we’re scaling from a high-performing flagship into a national portfolio. If you want to operate at the ground floor of a brand with real momentum, high standards, and a team obsessed with doing it right, this is your seat. 🚀 THE MISSION You keep the magic working. At BOLT FARM, couples invest in privacy, peace, romance, wellness, and world-class hospitality. They do not come here to notice a broken outlet, cold spa, weak shower, loose hinge, tired paint, dead heater, or half-fixed anything. This role is for the hands-on residential maintenance technician who knows how to troubleshoot, fix, clean up, and move with urgency. Not a landscaper. Not a clipboard inspector. Not someone who needs three people to tell them what obvious problem is sitting in front of them. You are the person who walks into a private sanctuary, sees what is off, and makes it right before it touches the guest experience. WHAT YOU’LL OWN - Residential maintenance and repairs across luxury villas, treehouses, and guest spaces. - Light electrical work including outlets, switches, timers, sensors, fans, CAT6 terminations, and basic diagnostics. - Voltage testing using a multimeter/voltage meter safely and confidently. - Basic troubleshooting across 120v/240v residential systems, circuits, panels, motors, and equipment. - Basic plumbing repairs including fixtures, instant hot water systems, pumps, pipe fitting basics, sinks, toilets, showers, and water-flow issues. - HVAC light diagnostics, repairs, PMs, and testing using proper gauges and equipment. - Spa and hot tub support including daily cleaning, water testing, chemicals, pumps, heating elements, control circuits, and power systems. - Gas appliance support including gas grills, pizza ovens, fire tables, space heaters, and gas instant hot water heaters. - Light carpentry including measuring, cuts, trim, hardware, furniture builds/repairs, painting, and clean finish work. - Guest-readiness standards so every space feels polished, cared for, safe, and luxury-level. - Property teamwork when the mountain needs all hands — fallen tree, urgent site issue, large project, or a guest need that cannot wait. THIS IS NOT - A landscaping-first role. - A “that’s not my job” seat. - A place for slow follow-up, messy workspaces, or half-done repairs. - A corporate maintenance job where standards are low and nobody notices. - A role for someone who can only do one trade and freezes when the problem crosses categories. YOU’RE A STRONG FIT IF - You have minimum of 3+ years of hands-on residential construction, handyman, apartment maintenance, apartment turns, renovation, or house maintenance experience. - You can replace outlets, understand 3-way switches, read voltage, and use a multimeter. - You know your way around power tools and use them safely. - You can troubleshoot before escalating. - You can handle basic plumbing without drama. - You care about clean finishes, clean workspaces, and professional appearance. - You have reliable transportation. - You own your own tools or are actively building your tool setup. Specialty tools may be provided as needed. - You can work indoors, outdoors, in heat, cold, rain, and real mountain conditions. - You are willing to jump in when the team needs help, even if the task is outside your normal lane. BONUS POINTS - Apartment maintenance or apartment turnaround experience. - Residential construction background. - Light HVAC experience. - Spa/hot tub maintenance experience. - Gas appliance repair experience. - Strong finish carpentry instincts. - Comfortable using AI or simple tech tools to troubleshoot faster, document issues, and improve how work gets done. HOW WE WORK BOLT FARM is a team sport. Most days, you’ll be focused on residential maintenance and property repair. Some days, the mountain throws something weird at us. A tree falls. A guest needs towels at the steam room. A large project needs extra hands. A storm exposes a weak point. When that happens, we move together. The standard is simple: protect the guest experience, protect the property, protect the team. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE - Guest-facing maintenance issues are fixed before guests notice them. - Villas feel fresh, clean, safe, and cared for. - Work orders are completed fast and documented clearly. - Repeat issues get solved at the root, not patched forever. - Tools, materials, and work areas stay organized. - The team trusts you because you show up, communicate clearly, and finish what you start. - Leadership sees fewer emergencies because you prevent problems early. INTERVIEW PROCESS - Local candidates: in-person interview preferred. - Candidates about an hour away: video interview acceptable. - Exceptional non-local candidates: video interview considered. - Expect practical questions around residential maintenance, troubleshooting, tools, voltage testing, plumbing basics, and real examples of work you’ve completed.
