JOB SUMMARY   A Maintenance Technician at Woodward Camp is an integral part of the camper's experience. They will be part of the maintenance staff, maintaining records, keeping Woodward's renowned facilities operating at a high level. A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks across the property ensuring the campus remains clean, safe, functional, and welcoming for our guests. These vital tasks may include landscaping, cleaning, removing trash, and performing maintenance on a wide array of features at our facilities.    WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?   Summer Season: 3 Meals Daily and Employee Housing Available.    Access to our world-class facilities. You will work and play in the same innovative environments as professional and Olympic athletes.   Discounts on food, retail and gear.     Career Development and growth opportunities here and at our facilities across the globe.   A connection with people who share the same passions and embrace each other’s unique and individual styles.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   Operate light equipment (Weed Eaters)   Operate vehicles including: pick-up trucks, Kubota side by side and trailer, and golf carts   Clean and maintain tools and mechanical equipment   Pick up litter, tras h and leaves   Respond to emergency calls    Perform painting duties, sand, caulk, prime and paint   Perform groundskeeping tasks such as: weed eating, mowing grass, and landscaping   Perform snow removal    Perform minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry work   Operate a pressure washer     Put up and remove seasonal awnings   Repair vandalism   Operate small hand and power tools   Operate a variety of air tools   Assume custodian's duties   Assist with guest requests and needs in a timely manner    Conduct routine maintenance and safety facility inspections   Other duties as assigned.   SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES   None   KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES   Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines    Ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team.    Ability to project manage and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time     Strong interpersonal skills. Can think "outside the box". Has the ability to implement ideas.      Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision, agile, and able to pivot quickly    Exhibits initiative, responsibility, and accountability    Strong attention to detail    Comfortable handling confidential information    Successful working in an independent and team environment    QUALIFICATIONS   Required Qualifications   2+ of years' experience in general maintenance techniques    OSHA certified on applicable equipment    Must be comfortable working at heights and confined spaces    Well versed in electric, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical and fleet maintenance    Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team    5+ of years' experience in general maintenance techniques     OSHA certified on applicable equipment     Must be comfortable working at heights and confined spaces     Well versed in electric, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical and fleet maintenance   Demonstrate broad technical knowledge of management techniques     Provide wo rk related references upon request.    Employment in this position is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-hire background checks, including criminal history clearance through the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH), child abuse clearance throu gh the Department of Public Welfare, Motor Vehicle Record if required by position    and federal background screening via FBI fin gerprinting   Provide work related references upon request     Employment in this position is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-hire background checks, including criminal history clearance through the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH), child abuse clearance throu gh the Department of Public Welfare, Motor Vehicle Record if required by position    and federal background screening via FBI fin gerprinting   Preferred Qualifications:   Driver's license preferred   PRE-REQUISITES   Must have or   be able to obtain the following prior to starting work:   Woodward will supply information to assist you in obtaining these if needed.     Mandated Reporter Training Certificate   Safesport Training Certificate   PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS   Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.     Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment.     Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines.     Primary on-site work location: Woodward, PA   You make us Woodward.
