What's in it for you:
Maintenance Technician II is responsible for organizing and facilitating maintenance on all production and facility equipment with emphasis on avoiding equipment downtime and resolving quality and production related issues in the spirit of continuous improvement. Including, but not limited to, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical troubleshooting. Employees in maintenance roles are responsible for working in accordance with predetermined safety, quality, method and sequencing standards according to established standard operating procedures.
This position is scheduled for 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Charlotte, NC manufacturing site. Benefits options available DAY 1, plus $150 allowance for safety shoes! What you will do:
Perform preventive maintenance tasks on both production and facilities equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and facilities equipment.
Research, identify, and source repair/replacement component parts and equipment.
Assist in the planning and installation of new equipment and improvements to the facility.
Communicate with contractors, equipment manufacturers, and suppliers to support the operation, service, and repair of production and facilities equipment.
Attend safety training and adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
Participate in safety programs.
Maintain equipment service records and documentation.
What you will bring:
5-7 years of experience in general mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic technology required
Strong knowledge in general mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic technology
Foundational knowledge of electrical wiring and power systems
Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a group setting
“Self-starter” with the ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
Knowledge of HVAC systems and PLC’s a plus
Must be willing to support 2nd shift if future business needs require expansion to additional shifts (12 p.m.-8 p.m.)
