What will your job look like?
The Manager, Finance will oversee contract analysis, profitability assessments, budget and forecast reviews, client reporting, and accounts receivable management—ensuring all deliverables meet strict deadlines and provide accurate, relevant insights.
This position is contingent on award of contract.
What you’ll do:
Conduct analysis of contracts, budgets/forecasts, and profitability
Identify, understand, and clearly communicate key drivers impacting revenue and expenses
Participate in and support Plan Improvement and Financial Review meetings to advance cost-saving initiatives and enhance financial understanding of plan/contract performance from both actual and budget perspectives
Analyze factors contributing to significant variances in revenue or expenses compared to prior month, budget/forecast, or contractual expectations
Understand and explain drivers influencing plan allocations and their impact on overall financials
Investigate discrepancies within operational expenses at the plan level
Assist with monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes
Develop and implement automated financial analytics to improve efficiency
Prepare, update, and distribute client financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Create financial reports as required by RFP specifications
Ensure timely and accurate client invoicing and billing
Build strong relationships with business units to enhance interdepartmental communication and collaboration for research and analysis
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by management
What you’ll need:
Experience, Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Analytics
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a Finance or Accounting role
Certified Public Accountant preferred
Previous data analysis experience
Skills:
Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize work and meet established deadlines and goals
Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, and Word, including creating and updating Pivot Tables, along with the ability to import/export data to/from various data sources
Strong and accurate data analysis skills, with the ability to find truth within data sets
Knowledge of general accounting processes and procedures
Ability to hold other departments accountable for action items in various meetings
Works well independently while simultaneously demonstrating effective analytical/problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain high level of ethics and confidentiality
Ability to multitask in a sometimes-rapid paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Possess the skill to adapt and learn on the fly given frequent changes of course towards requests and research
Excellent presentation skills
Even better if you have...
Experience with Microsoft Power BI and/or Tableau is preferred
Intermediate to advanced skills in Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning, and/or a similar financial system and EPM software preferred

Salary Max: $100,000
