As a Qualified Behavioral Health Provider, you will work under the supervision of a licensed therapist or psychologist to provide comprehensive behavioral health services to individuals, families, and groups. You will conduct assessments, establish diagnoses, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions designed to improve emotional well-being, strengthen coping skills, and support long-term recovery. Through counseling, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral health education, you will empower clients to achieve their treatment goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities: Provide individual, group, family, and other therapeutic services in a variety of settings under the supervision of a licensed therapist or psychologist.
Complete intake screenings, comprehensive assessments, and evaluations within required regulatory, accreditation, and agency timeframes.
Determine and document diagnoses based on assessment findings and established diagnostic criteria.
Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans that reflect client needs, strengths, and treatment goals.
Utilize evidence-based interventions, counseling techniques, psychotherapy, and behavior modification strategies to support recovery and wellness.
Participate in clinical staffing, treatment team meetings, and case consultations, providing recommendations and feedback on client progress.
Meet department-specific Collaborative Service Goal (CSG) requirements.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure services are authorized and documentation requirements are met within designated timeframes.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory, accreditation, and agency standards.
Ensure treatment notes, assessments, and service documentation align with treatment plans and required timelines.
Correct documentation deficiencies within designated timeframes.
Assist clients through transitions of care and complete discharge summaries, transition plans, and related correspondence.
Respond to and manage crisis situations, coordinating emergency services when necessary.
Facilitate specialty services, including trauma-informed therapy, co-occurring disorder treatment, psychoeducation, family therapy, and group counseling.
Provide clinical consultation and guidance to treatment team members as needed.
Assist with professional and clinical supervision of trainees or staff when qualified and authorized.
Represent the organization professionally within the community and maintain positive relationships with referral sources, clients, and stakeholders.
Complete all required training and maintain compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Support organizational goals, initiatives, and quality improvement efforts.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field required.
Must be eligible to obtain full licensure through the applicable professional licensing board in the state of practice.
Must complete all required clinical supervision hours and successfully pass applicable licensing examinations.
Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment services preferred.
Experience conducting assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions preferred.
Must be willing to pursue licensure in additional states as needed.
Must be comfortable providing telehealth services; training will be provided.
Experience facilitating individual, family, group, and crisis intervention services preferred.
Required License/Certification: Master’s degree in an approved behavioral health discipline required.
Eligibility for professional licensure in the applicable state required.
Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current automobile insurance required.
Must provide copies of all applicable certifications, registrations, and licenses.
Additional Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic criteria for mental health and substance use disorders.
Thorough understanding of rehabilitation methods, treatment planning, case management, and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
Knowledge of challenges commonly experienced by individuals with behavioral health conditions.
Understanding of applicable laws, regulations, ethical standards, and court procedures related to behavioral healthcare.
