This position is a general labor/material handling type of role within our Shower Door Division. Responsibilities include pulling glass and metal materials from holding racks, inspecting products for quality, packaging, and stocking materials for distribution. Employees may be cross-trained throughout the department. Please note: This position does not involve forklift operation. The typical shift for this role is 7am-3pm, Monday - Friday. Overtime or a Saturday shift may be assigned as needed.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities Read, interpret, and process work orders Pull material by hand and transport to proper areas throughout department Inspect product for defects such as chips, bubbles, scratches, blown holes, proper edgework, etc. Package materials and prepare for shipment Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within guideline Requirements Basic computer skills and ability to read/use a tape measure Detail-oriented, self-motivated; able to work independently and as part of a team Able to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and pull frequently Lift up to 75 lbs. alone and 150 lbs. with a partner Close visual acuity required Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments (hot/cold conditions) What OBE Offers You Benefits that benefit you – industry competitive  benefits  at the lowest cost to the employee Work-life balance – PTO and holidays, including floating holidays you can choose Compensation that rewards your hard work – A pay-for-performance culture with potential for annual raises and bonuses Training – We will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed OBE Privacy Policy OBE will not discharge or discriminate against employees or applicants for discussing, disclosing, or inquiring about their own or others' pay.
