Job Description
Job Summary:
Under limited supervision, this position has primary responsibility for stockroom operations, shipping, and receiving. This includes managing all outbound domestic and international shipments, receiving incoming materials, and maintaining accurate inventory control. The role ensures finished products and materials are properly inspected, documented, and packaged to arrive at the customer’s facility in new condition and ready for use, while supporting production and inventory flow throughout the facility.
Detailed Description: Kit stockroom materials per production work order bills of material
Issue and receive inventory following established processes and handling procedures
Accurately identify, count, transport, and package materials for storage or production use
Replenish production floor Kanban materials as needed
Process completed work orders and receive finished goods into inventory
Maintain accurate inventory and stock records
Store materials in an orderly and accessible manner in bins, on shelves, or designated warehouse locations
Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and initiate purchase requisitions or notify buyers as required
Execute all inventory‑related ERP transactions
Receive and sign for incoming deliveries
Audit received materials for correct part markings, quantities, revisions, purchase order numbers, delivery dates, and packaging
Identify, document, and communicate discrepancies or delivery deviations
Process receipts based on communicated priorities
Stock received materials in designated locations
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required
Prepare and generate customer packing lists and all required shipping documentation
Pack finished goods and materials for shipment
Perform final inspection and verification of products and shipping documentation
Ensure all shipments comply with company export policies, international trade regulations, and applicable laws
Coordinate with Production to stage finished goods for shipment
Work with Production Planners and Sales Administrators to meet customer shipping schedules and requirements
Execute all shipping‑related ERP transactions
Process international shipments including required export documentation
Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and customer‑specific international shipping requirements
Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal stakeholders as required
Requirements: High School Diploma, or Equivalent
Experience in shipping, receiving, and stockroom or warehouse operations
International shipping and export compliance experience required
Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory transactions
Ability to operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment
Ability to work effectively in a production/manufacturing environment
Salary Range:
The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
