The Tempur Sealy manufacturing site in Hagerstown, MD is currently seeking a  Mattress Builder  for our 1st shift.  The  Mattress Builder  is responsible for taking pre-staged parts of the mattress and assembling them in the correct order. Job Duties: Correctly assemble multiple bedding layers including springs, felt, foam and other materials in a safe and consistent manner. Works in a two-person team to pad & cover innerspring assemblies to form mattresses. Attaching layers of insulating materials using a hog ring gun. Attached toppers and panels by spraying hot glue. Adhere to all safety and quality requirements while meeting or exceeding production service levels. Participate in Department safety, quality and continuous improvement events on an as needed basis. Excellent attendance—must be reliable and punctual. Must be willing to work overtime if needed. Must be 18 years of age or older.
