Mechanical Engineer Project Manager

Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world! Responsibilities: Lead regional air filtration product design and development projects for OE customers. Manage APQP projects for OEM/OES/Tier 1 customers, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, VDA, and customer standards. Coordinate cross-functional teams and drive projects from concept through SOP and handoff to Sales/Operations. Oversee launch activities, approvals, and project execution across production sites. Initiate and execute filter media and product development projects (PDP-I/PDP-C). Contribute to R&D innovation and develop technical value propositions for advanced air quality solutions. Track market trends and competitor developments to support product strategy and future technologies. Qualifications: 2+ years exp in similar role and industry Engineering (Application, Mechanical, Textile, Chemical) preferred Automotive experience required Automotive processes knowledge preferred Filtration experience (particle, functional and adsorption) preferred (particle, functional and adsorption)  Business Acumen mindset ‎ ‎ The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
