We are The Eye Doctors’ #1 Choice®. A non-licensed employee possessing knowledge of basic nursing care and front office skills to support the delivery of high-quality, cost effective patient care. Functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or LVN at all times. Reports to Charge RN OR, Business Supervisor and DON. Responsibilities Assist with admitting patients from the waiting room to the pro-op area Assist with dressing patients in proper surgical attire before surgery Hook-up patient monitors and obtain first set of vital signs and record assist patients during transfers on/off gurney　 Keep PACU supplies well stocked Provides pre/post-operative care and instructions. Assists in surgery by preparing the laser room with supplies and sterilized equipment. Stocks all medication and medical supplies by proactively planning work week to ensure completion of required tasks. Calls to request pre/post-ops on surgery patients. Orders all medical supplies. Keeps up with all regular and emergency maintenance on medical equipment. Qualifications BLS certified High School Diploma or Equivalent One year experience in a Medical setting Min USD $22.00/Yr. Max USD $28.00/Yr.
