Description of Work
This position is located at Pamlico Correctional, Bayboro, NC. Pamlico Correctional is a medium custody prison housing male offenders. Pamlico Correctional serves as the hub for healthcare for the male offenders population. The facility is designed to house a maximum capacity of 732 offenders.
This position requires general knowledge of medical office practices and procedures to review, verify, complete, record, and/or balance records, reports, and figures. The Medical Records Assistant reports to the Nurse Supervisor. Positions at this level perform comprehensive, complex professional -level nursing work in providing primary preventative, and rehabilitative care to individuals and families in a variety of settings, including public health. Employees are responsible for the implementation, coordination and evaluation of unlicensed nursing staff on their assigned. shift. Employees are responsible for the implementation, coordination and evaluation of patient care and may assist the nursing supervisor by directly supervising all licensed and unlicensed nursing staff on the assigned shift.

Salary Range: $39,244 - $68,679
