As our next Engineer Tech for NAVAIR,  you'll collaborate with talented professionals to create innovative, mission-critical solutions that empower naval aviation and defense operations. Your expertise will help shape cutting-edge systems, enhance national security, and drive technological advancement for our nation. Responsibilities Performs research and engineering laboratory functions involving the testing, analysis and evaluation of materials and processes. Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Analyzes technical data to determine applicability to design problems; selects from several possible design layouts; calculates design data; and prepares layouts, detailed specifications, parts lists, estimates, procedures, etc. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. Assembles electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments. Sets up and operates test equipment to evaluate performance of developmental parts, assemblies, or systems under simulated operating conditions, and records results. Qualifications DoD Secret clearance, able to obtain a Top Secret. Must be a U.S. Citizen. High School diploma and 3-5+  years of related work experience. The salary range for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr. - USD $120,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
