Position Overview
The Cardiovascular Center of Excellence is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified/board-eligible cardiologist with advanced training in Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) to join and help develop a growing Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program.
This physician will provide comprehensive care for adults with congenital heart disease while partnering with cardiovascular leadership to expand clinical services, strengthen referral networks, and enhance access to specialized ACHD care. The position includes protected administrative time dedicated to program development and growth initiatives.
Position Highlights
Dedicated ACHD practice
Non-invasive/non-interventional cardiology role
Protected administrative time for program development
Opportunity to build and grow a regional ACHD program with full administrative support
Multidisciplinary collaboration with cardiac surgery, electrophysiology, heart failure, structural heart, maternal-fetal medicine, and pediatric congenital heart disease teams
This program is built in collaboration with Mary Bridge hospital with the support of Cincinnati heart
Leadership support for program growth and service line development
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide outpatient care for adults with congenital heart disease
Provide inpatient ACHD consultations
Manage complex congenital cardiac conditions across the continuum of care
Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and case review conferences
Interpret cardiovascular imaging and diagnostic studies consistent with training
Participate in cardiology call schedule as assigned
Program Development Responsibilities
Develop and expand ACHD clinical services
Build referral relationships with regional providers and health systems
Support quality improvement and outcomes initiatives
Assist in the development of clinical pathways, care standards, and program infrastructure
Participate in strategic planning and service line growth initiatives
Collaborate with cardiovascular leadership to improve patient access and care coordination
FTE: 1.0 Shift: Day, Schedule: Variable
Base Salary: $520,200.00 plus performance bonus, production bonus and call pay
