Responsibilities The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.  Highlights: Full-time employed opportunity 7on/7off 12-hour shifts Open ICU 18-20 patients per shift Assist physicians with rounding and admissions Work with Collaborative Practice Agreement Must have 2 years' experience working in inpatient hospitalist setting Compensation and Benefits Marketable shift rate CME Allowance Medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance Medical malpractice insurance including tail coverage Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. MSN with specialization as an ARNP 2. Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse3. BLS upon hire and maintain current4. One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.5.
