Position Description The Clinical Affiliations Coordinator Support will focus exclusively on the administrative duties of student onboarding and mandated site-specific documentation, working alongside the Clinical Affiliations Coordinator. This position will support the Clinical Affiliations Coordinator in maintaining and collecting health information on clinical students and nursing clinical supervisors/faculty. Support is critical during heavy seasons, specifically 4 - 6 weeks prior to the start of each semester; Alignment with Theological Positions Alignment with Theological Positions: The person who fills this position must be someone who personally agrees with Biola’s Articles of Faith and Statement of Biblical Principles and who is supportive of the positions taken by Biola as contained in its Eschatology Teaching Position. As such, this person may not speak against or act in a manner inconsistent with these positions during the course of their employment at Biola. Department Department of Nursing in the School of Science, Technology and Health. Supervisor This position reports to the Clinical Affiliation’s Coordinator. Educational Requirements BS preferred. Work Requirements ● Part time– 10 -15 hours/week, 12 months per year. ● This position requires personal attendance at Biola’s campus in La Mirada, California, but will consider a limited hybrid/flexible work arrangement Essential Duties ● Working alongside the Clinical Affiliations Coordinator, this position will support onboarding and administrative tasks needed for clinical students and clinical supervisor/faculty in order to begin clinical rotations on time. ● This positions take ownership of: o Document Verification: Auditing student uploads for accuracy and expiration dates. o Site-Specific Packs: Preparing and submitting "onboarding packets" to hospital clinical education departments 4–6 weeks in advance of rotation. o Communication: Acting as the primary point of contact for student questions regarding "how to use the portal," or “how to complete this form,” or tracking of missing health information Required Skills/Qualifications ● Detail oriented and highly organized, with ability to balance competing priorities. ● Dependable and able to maintain confidentiality. ● Excellent oral and written communication skills as evidenced by: ○ Able to write gracious and clear original correspondence ○ The ability to proofread and edit messaging appropriately; ○ Relating positively and collaboratively using tact and persuasion with a diverse groups of constituents; students, staff, faculty, agency personnel, professionals and nonprofessionals ● Strong ability to understand and use computer technology. ● Ability to create and manage complex documents;
