Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions. Country of Location: China Hong Kong Job Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day corporate action events, settlement and operational support in one or more of the following areas: Hong Kong and Overseas Equities & Bonds etc. • Maintain manual system bookings for client instructions and securities market information • Process and track funding and payments related with custodian transactions • Liaise with relevant parties; manage end-to-end processing procedures and closely work with various internal and external parties such as Finance, Risk, Compliance, legal counsel, IT, system vendor etc. • Support custody operation system troubleshooting and testing • Perform other duties as delegated and assigned by the management Requirements: • Secondary education or above, degree holder is preferable. • 1 year of relevant work experience with knowledge in securities markets, custody or asset management operation • Familiar with and the Bank’s policies, governance frameworks, procedures, practices, standards and applicable local and regional regulations to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance. • Good knowledge in securities market, custody, trustee is an advantage • Familiar with SWIFT, CCASS, Clearstream, Euroclear, eCMT terminal.
