Operations Scientist II
Work Schedule - Mon - Fri (Day Shift)
Job Responsibilities :
Conduct bioanalytical sample preparations
Document work and maintain study documentation and laboratory records.
Communicate with project managers, lead scientists, and supervisor on projects daily/weekly
Order consumables for projects as needed
Plan assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively schedule multiple assignments.
Provide detailed sample analysis and inventory updates to project managers and lead scientists to ensure projects meet agreed upon timelines
Set up, operate and perform routine and non-routine maintenance on general equipment
Attend and participate in project meetings
Support process improvement initiatives
Maintain a clean and safe laboratory work environment
Participate in client visits as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree in chemistry, biology or laboratory science degree.
2 years or more f experience working in a laboratory setting (e.g. balances, pipettes, centrifuges etc.)
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree in chemistry
3 years or more of experience working in a laboratory setting (e.g. balances, pipettes, centrifuges etc.)
2 years or more of experience with chromatography systems (LCMS preferred)
2 years or more GxP Documentation experience
Computer Experience (e.g., Word, Excel) or LIMS
Additional Job Standards :
Experience working multiple projects in various stages at the same time
Ability to handle a fast paced environment
Organized and detailed communication
Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing
Experience working in a variety of study types, analysis procedures and methodology projects
Application Window: Position will be posted from 7/16 thru 7/31/26 and may be extended as necessary.
