As a Behavior Support, you'll work  one-on-one with the same student throughout the entire school year , building meaningful relationships and helping them grow academically, socially, and behaviorally. This consistency allows you to truly make a lasting impact while becoming an important part of your student's success.  This role is responsible for performing a variety of para-professional tasks related to the care and support of students served by Damar. Essential duties are performed in accordance with Damar's Strategic Plan, licensure requirements, and Department of Education (DOE) guidelines. What makes this role unique?  Enjoy a school-year schedule with daytime hours that support a healthy work-life balance.  Work 1:1 with the same student all year, allowing you to build trust, consistency, and lasting connections.  Be part of the same classroom and school community every day—no traveling between locations.  Work in a structured school environment that operates like a traditional public school, complete with classrooms, teachers, and school activities.  Participate in field trips and special school events, creating memorable experiences while supporting your student's learning beyond the classroom.  What would I be doing?  As a Behavior Support Professional, you'll:  Provide one-on-one support and supervision for your assigned student.  Assist with behavior management and crisis intervention when needed.  Encourage positive social interactions and appropriate behaviors.  Support your student's academic, social, and emotional development.  Help students reach their fullest potential in a safe, supportive learning environment.  Where would I work with clients?
