Part Time Instructor - Arts (ARTS)

Job Summary Perform part-time instruction within the Arts program of the Blinn College District Principal Accountabilities Teach arts classes as assigned by the Dean, Assistant Dean, or Department Head. Provide instruction for courses offered at various times, modalities, and locations. Maintain regular office hours and remain accessible to students in person, electronically, and by phone. Maintain current knowledge in the discipline, including contemporary teaching strategies and classroom technology. Manage classroom media, equipment, and instructional resources. Evaluate student performance and maintain an accurate and active gradebook. Integrate, implement, and collect assessments for course outcomes and student learning outcomes. Submit all required reports, documentation, and forms in a timely manner. Participate annually in professional development activities. Attend institutional meetings and trainings as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
