This is a clinic-based role where you’ll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations.
If you’re looking for meaningful, mission-driven work with schedule consistency — without the overhead and administrative burden of running your own practice — this opportunity offers flexibility and professional support.
The Setting
This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model.
• Clinic staff are on-site full time • Organized scheduling and patient flow • Coordinated, team-based care environment • Value-based model focused on seniors
We manage equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics — allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality vision care.
What You’ll Do
• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments • Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice • Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations • Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team • Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting

We emphasize:
• Quality over volume • Consistency and predictability • Administrative and logistical support • Long-term clinic partnerships • Ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery
Qualifications
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program • Active California optometry license • Experience treating senior populations preferred • Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills • Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments
Schedule
• Part Time (consistent schedule) • Typical hours: 8:30am-4:30pm • No nights • No weekends • No billing or administrative responsibilities
