Job Description The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s North Hospital in Kansas City is seeking a Patient Transporter to join our team. Through manual or computerized job assignments, the Ser vice Associate functions as a Patient Transporter who will move patients by wheel chair or car throughout the hospital for various reasons.
Shift Details: Friday 4pm-8pm and 7 :00am-5:30pm weekends; Schedule will consist of weekdays, and weekends, as well as some holidays.
The Work:
U tilize s infection prevention techniques patient transfer techniques and knowledge of appropriate routes to assure patients are safely and efficiently moved
Good communication with the nursing clinical staff is required
R ecognize s when they need to ask for help or continued guidance
Maintain s an d protect s the integrity of patient ’ s tubes lines and collection devices
Will also move patient valuables and equipment

Evening and Weekend Shift Differential $1.00, Weekend Shift Differential $2.00
