Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and provide exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll issues.
Primary Responsibilities
Ensure accurate and timely processing of company-wide weekly payroll in SAP and mileage pay in the legacy AS400 system
Accurately enter employee master file data into the payroll system including: taxes, deductions, garnishments, and other pay information
Process direct deposit and negotiable checks in an accurate and precise manner
Provide timely and helpful customer service for employees concerning payroll related issues in assigned region/service area
Complete forms request by or for employees such as wage summaries, employment verifications, etc.
Reconcile assigned payroll accounts
Job Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
2+ years of payroll experience
Experience processing large multi-state payroll in ERP (in house) payroll environment
Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Detail oriented and self-motivated
Ability to work independently
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to handle sensitive data regarding employee wages confidentially
SAP experience preferred
