Overview Pediatric Hospitalist - Medical Doctor Good Samaritan University Hospital is redefining what it means to be a university hospital by integrating medicine, science, innovation, compassion, and teaching. Job Details Responsibilities / Qualifications The Pediatric Hospitalist will provide comprehensive inpatient care for pediatric patients, including newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. Responsibilities include: Managing pediatric admissions, daily rounds, and discharges Providing care in the newborn nursery and pediatric inpatient units Collaborating with pediatric subspecialists and multidisciplinary teams Participating in family-centered care and patient education Supporting quality improvement initiatives and clinical excellence Contributing to teaching and mentoring of residents and medical students Requirements: Licensed to practice medicine in New York State Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics (within 3 years) BLS and PALS certification required (ACLS preferred), from the American Heart Association (no online-only courses accepted) Posted Salary Range USD $190,000.00 - USD $240,000.00 /Yr. This salary range serves as a good faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location, and does not include bonuses or additional incentives.
