What You’ll Do
• Direct and coordinate nursing operations and staffing activities within the PACU
• Support and mentor nursing and support staff through coaching, development, and ongoing feedback
• Lead onboarding, training, and educational initiatives to support team success
• Foster a positive and psychologically safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary hospital teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Develop and implement staffing plans that balance operational needs with team wellbeing
• Help drive engagement, accountability, communication, and culture across the department
• Serve as a visible and approachable leader who supports staff through both everyday operations and high-pressure situations
• Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, quality outcomes, and clinical excellence
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
Master’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field is required
Licensure & Certifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
ACLS preferred
BLS preferred
Experience
2–3 years of nursing experience required
2-3 years of nursing leadership experience preferred
Current PACU experience preferred
