This is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards .

Lonza has an opening for a Pharmaceutical Maintenance Technician in Bend, Oregon. You will support the maintenance and reliability of manufacturing equipment used in pharmaceutical production. You will begin with a six-month training program on day shift (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). After training, you will transition to a night shift schedule with rotating weekends. Night shift includes a 15% shift differential.

What you will do Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and facility systems
Follow standard operating procedures to ensure compliance and safety
Review and update maintenance records and documentation
Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation
Interpret equipment diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
Collaborate with teams across manufacturing, labs, and utilities
Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours needs
What we are looking for High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Technical training in mechanical, electrical, or related fields
Experience with mechanical, electrical, or fluid systems (or similar)
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and documents
Strong math, reading, and basic computer skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
Experience in a GMP environment is helpful but not required
