Overview Department: Outpatient Rehabilitation-Physical Therapy Shifts Available:  Days Employment Type: Per Diem (PD/PRN) Hours:  Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 6 pm  and Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm ( Hours are flexible) Location: Providence Medical Center- Kansas City, KS  We are seeking a motivated Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing rehabilitation clinic. This role provides one-on-one patient care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on orthopedic rehab, neurological therapy, pelvic floor therapy, vestibular/balance rehabilitation, and aquatic therapy. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering evidence-based treatment, functional outcomes, and personalized care plans while building strong relationships with patients, physicians, and interdisciplinary providers. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to): Perform in-depth assessments to understand patient conditions, establish baselines, and identify therapy goals. Collaborate with patients to design and implement personalized rehabilitation strategies to restore strength, function, and mobility. Facilitate physical therapy sessions using exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation to enhance recovery. Regularly evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals effectively. Guide exercises, home programs, and lifestyle changes that support ongoing recovery and prevent future injuries. Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, coordinated approach to patient care. Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
