Physical Therapist

Overview Shift’s Available:  Days Employment Type: Part Time Hours: 8 hour shift Location: Southern Regional Medical Center - Riverdale, GA Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):  Assessing Patients: Evaluate a patient's mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional limitations  Creating Treatment Plans: Develop individualized therapy plans to improve movement and function based on the patient’s condition and goals  Post-Surgical Rehabilitation: Assist patients in regaining function after surgery (e.g., joint replacements, cardiac procedures)  Pain Management: Use techniques such as manual therapy, positioning, and guided movement to reduce pain and improve comfort  Patient & Family Education: Teach patients and caregivers how to perform exercises, use assistive devices (like walkers), and follow safety practices at home  Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:  Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy. Current state Physical Therapy license. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
