Overview Department:  Outpatient Rehabilitation- Physical Therapy  Shifts Available: Day Shift  Employment Type: Full- Time Hours: 8-hour shift (7:30-6:00 Monday through Thursday and Fridays 7:30-3:00) Location: Providence Medical Center- Kansas City, KS We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in a Full-time capacity. This role offers a patient-centered, 1:1 care model in an outpatient physical therapy clinic treating a diverse caseload including orthopedic (ortho), neurological (neuro), pelvic floor, vestibular (dizziness and balance), and aquatic therapy patients. Full benefits at Prime Healthcare: https://www.primehealthcare.com/careers/benefits/   Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, function, and outcomes Deliver 1:1 outpatient therapy treatment focused on patient goals Educate patients on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and recovery plans Document treatments and patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary teams Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:  An Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
