Corewell   Health   West   is seeking a  Hematologist   Oncologist   with   interest and   expertise   in   classical and malignant hematology   for our growing, nationally recognized program in West Michigan.   This   is   a great   opportunity   for a physician who is passionate about advancing multidisciplinary care   for individuals with blood disorders and hematologic malignancies , expanding access to innovative therapies and clinical trials, and building a destination program that serves patients across the region.   As   a member of the hematology, oncology, and BMT division,   you will partner with physician   and APP colleagues   across medical oncology,   bone marrow transplant , radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, genetics,   hospitalist   medicine,   and   palliative care   to   support   a comprehensive, integrated   hematology   program focused on clinical excellence, innovation, research, and an exceptional patient experience.   Clinical Responsibilities   * Provide comprehensive care for patients with   blood disorders and hematologic   malignancies.   * Deliver evidence-based, multidisciplinary treatment   utilizing   the latest systemic therapies, targeted agents, immunotherapies, and precision medicine approaches.   *   Participate   in shared inpatient and after- hours   call responsibilities.   * Collaborate closely with support services, including genetics, nutrition, palliative care, rehabilitation, survivorship, and nurse navigation.   Why Join Our Program?   * Strong institutional commitment to cancer   and classical hematology   program growth.   *   Established   multidisciplinary culture with outstanding collaboration across specialties.   * Robust patient resources including n urse   n avigation,   c ancer   r ehab ilitation ,   p alliative   c are ,   and   i ntegrative   m edicin e . * Dedicated tumor boards and disease-site conferences.   *   FACT Accredited BMT program inclusive of CAR T-Cell Therapy .   * Robust clinical trials infrastructure with opportunities to expand investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored research.   * Access to advanced molecular diagnostics, precision oncology, and innovative therapeutics.   * Active fellowship program with opportunity to   mentor the next generation of   hematologist-oncologists   * Experienced team of oncology-certified nurses, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, research coordinators, nurse navigators, and supportive care specialists.   *   Academic appointment at Michigan State University is available,   commensurate   with experience.   Qualifications   Required   * MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.   * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.   * Eligibility for unrestricted Michigan medical licensure.   * Excellent communication, collaboration, and   clinical   skills.   Preferred   * Clinical research experience with therapeutic   trials.   *   Interest   in quality improvement, or program development.   * Academic accomplishments through publications, presentations,   mentorship   or teaching.   Compensation    Corewell Health offers a highly competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth.
