Key   Responsibilities   Install according to plans and specifications   Set up and   operate   lasers and transits    Assist   with excavation layout, trenching,   bedding   and backfilling   Ensure proper pipe alignment, slope, and elevation    Follow safety procedures and   comply with   OSHA regulations    Work collaboratively with equipment operators and crew members    Perform related duties as   required .    Qualifications      Knowledgeable in OSHA standards.    Willingness  to learn and accept  direction  from supervisors.    Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.    Must   have   reliable transportation .    Ability to work with tools and equipment such  as,  power and non-power tools.    Frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, kneel,  climb  and periodically  lift up  to 50lbs.    C ommunication and interpersonal skills are  a must .    Ability to manage time,  multitask  and prioritize.    Ames Construction is an equal opportunity employer.
