Principal Consultant, Value Engineering

JOB TITLE:  Principal Consultant, Value Engineering JOB LOCATION: Hybrid / Hyderabad, India JOB SUMMARY:   Value Engineering focuses on quantifying and communicating business impact by aligning solutions to measurable outcomes through analytics, benchmarking, and value realization frameworks. We are seeking a Principal Consultant who combines value consulting and data analytics expertise with experience in AI-driven solutions (including agent-based automation) to scale insights and business outcomes. This role operates at the intersection of consulting, analytics, and AI—translating complex data into actionable insights, building business cases, and developing scalable, insight-driven solutions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Drive end-to-end value engineering efforts including value insights, business case development, and value realization frameworks Lead and own end-to-end engagements for strategic opportunities Develop and enhance AI-enabled solutions, including agent-based workflows, to automate data retrieval, insight generation, and reporting Analyze client data and multi-source datasets to generate actionable insights, identify value drivers, and quantify business impact Develop and deliver executive-ready outputs including dashboards, scorecards, benchmarking reports, and value narratives Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling insights tailored for senior stakeholders and client leadership Build scalable analytical models, reusable assets, and automated workflows to enhance efficiency and repeatability Contribute to the design and implementation of value measurement frameworks to track outcomes and ROI realization Collaborate with cross-functional teams (consulting, analytics, product, and sales) to support value-based selling and strategic initiatives Support client engagements through data-driven insights, solution validation, and continuous value tracking Experience with and adopt emerging technologies (e.g., Copilot, agentic AI tools) to improve productivity and scale value engineering capabilities Lead discussions and influence decision-making with senior stakeholders (Director/VP/C-suite) REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS MBA or master’s degree from a reputed institution, with a bachelor’s in engineering, finance, or a related field 7+ years of experience in management consulting, value consulting/selling, data science or a related role Experience engaging with senior stakeholders (Director/VP level) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and storytelling Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio (agents and flows) or similar agentic AI / automation tools Exposure to value consulting, business case development, or ROI measurement Experience working in consulting, benefits analytics, or client-facing analytics roles Proven ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into clear, actionable insights KEY COMPETENCIES Analytical Rigor: Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Business Acumen: Ability to connect data insights into business outcomes and client value Storytelling: Exceptional ability to synthesize and communicate insights Collaboration: Works effectively across global and cross-functional teams Innovation: Interest in leveraging AI and automation to enhance analytics capabilities WHY JOIN US Opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives across global clients Collaborative, fast-paced environment with strong growth opportunities We offer you a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.
