Collins Aerospace is seeking Engineers to be part of a Field Engineering team for the AF DCGS High Band Mission Applications Software (HBMAS) Sustainment program. Under this effort, RTX Collins personnel will oversee/perform software sustainment for cloud-enabled systems that ingest, tag, and audit data sets, while maintaining security, integrity, and availability of data.  The team, working with our customers and users, will focus on sustaining operationally relevant system capabilities in the most effective and efficient manner.  The team will apply best practices across the engineering continuum, with a focus on improved software quality and process efficiency.   This requisition is open to candidates willing to work with a well-established and evolving team at Langley AFB, Virginia. What You Will Do The Field Service Engineer is responsible for deploying and supporting software solutions within the Air Force SIL environment, serving as the technical liaison between commercial development cycles and AF‑DCGS operational requirements. This role ensures that software releases meet compliance, security, and operational readiness standards while supporting site deployments, troubleshooting, and collaboration with Air Force counterparts. The Field Service Engineer plays a critical role in validating system performance, supporting acceptance testing, and ensuring secure, reliable integration in mission environments.
