This position requires: US Government Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance Day 1 .
Onsite: This is an onsite role that will support our Richardson, TX location.
What YOU will do:
Tracking, reporting, and managing program scope, cost, and schedule execution
Apply Earned Value Management principles to provide accurate Estimate to Complete (ETC) updates
Provide monthly variance analyses for associated Control Accounts
Identify and manage Risks and Opportunities for assigned subsystems
Collaborate to capture, analyze, decompose, and trace system requirements
Leverage JIRA to decompose epics and features into user stories with clear acceptance criteria
Plan and execute project-level work to meet schedules, costs, and performance goals.
Manage technical risks by evaluating design aspects and requirements
Represent the Systems Engineering team in customer and internal meetings
Bridge the gap between functional discipline groups and internal/external stakeholders
Engage in classified lab environments to apply your expertise hands-on (On-site presence required.)
Travel occasionally to support program requirements
Qualifications YOU must have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations + 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field + 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
Active and transferable U.S. Government DoD Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Leadership and mentoring experience systems engineering teams
Effective communication skills with all levels of management, program team members, and external stakeholders
Proven track record in capturing customer requirements, operations concept development, deriving and tracing system and sub-system requirements
Proven track record as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
Experience conducting root cause analysis and corrective actions
A strong understanding of the Systems Engineering Development Life-Cycle
Qualifications We prefer:
Experience with MBSE tools like MagicDraw CAMEO, Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect
Experience with requirements tool such as DOORS
Expertise in building complex SysML models, including developing activity, state, block diagrams, use cases, etc
Proficiency in Excel Macros and Visual Basic
Agile experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or other Agile leadership roles
Knowledge of Project Management, Control Account Management (CAM), and earned value
Familiarity with bidding and project/task estimation tools (e.g., SEER products)
Competence in peer review processes, configuration, and change management
Understanding of m ilitary concepts of operations or radio performance standards
