At Fortune Brands Innovations (FBIN), we're always looking to build relationships with experienced Product Managers who are passionate about bringing innovative physical products to market. While we may not have the perfect opportunity available today, we're actively growing our Product Management Talent Community for future openings across our Water, Outdoors, and Security businesses.
If you have 5+ years of Product Management experience and enjoy owning products from concept through commercialization, we'd love to hear from you.
POSITION LOCATION: These opportunities are based in Deerfield, IL and are eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Our world-class campus offers collaborative workspaces along with onsite dining, fitness facilities, recreation, and daycare amenities.
What You Could Be Working On
As a Product Manager at FBIN, you'll help shape products used by millions of consumers while partnering with teams across the business to bring new ideas to life. Depending on the opportunity, you may:
Develop and execute product strategies that drive category growth and business performance.
Own products throughout the full lifecycle—from consumer insights and concept development through commercialization and ongoing portfolio management.
Analyze customer insights, market trends, competitive intelligence, and business performance to identify opportunities and guide strategic decisions.
Partner closely with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Innovation, and Operations to successfully develop and launch products.
Lead product line reviews, roadmap planning, pricing strategy, portfolio optimization, and go-to-market execution.
Utilize business and analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP, and other reporting platforms to support data-driven decisions.
Travel occasionally for customer visits, manufacturing locations, product testing, trade shows, or market research.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in connecting with Product Managers who have experience leading physical products , including:
Consumer products
Durable goods
Building products
Manufacturing environments
Successful candidates typically bring:
5+ years of Product Management experience
Experience managing products through stage-gate development and commercialization processes
Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
Experience using customer insights and market data to drive product strategy
A track record of successfully managing products throughout the product lifecycle
Please note: These opportunities focus on physical product management. Candidates whose experience is exclusively in software or digital product management are generally not the right fit for these roles.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field
5+ years with experience related to physical products/durables/consumer goods (product management, product development, etc.)
Familiarity with stage-gate or structured product development environments
Strong communication skills and comfort using data to inform decisions
Preferred:
Background in consumer goods, building materials, durable goods, or manufacturing
MBA or advanced degree
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $100,000 USD - $135,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
